How to create an online video player in less than 30 seconds

If you have any experience uploading images and using drag-and-drop tools, the process will feel second-nature. It’s also quick. Even some more elaborate players can be made in a matter of minutes.

Here’s what you need to make your own, custom video player in less than 30 seconds:

Sign up for a Vitomy subscription – OK, so this step shouldn’t be counted for the 30 seconds, but it’s still pretty quick. You can do a whole lot more with a paid Vitomy account, but a free one will still work for making a branded video player in no time at all.
Have at least one branded image on file: Be sure you’re ready to upload the image files you want to incorporate into your branded player. Ideally, you’ll be using .PNG files, so that any transparent sections stay transparent in your live player.

Once you’ve got your account and your images, just follow these easy steps:

Log in to Vitomy.com and click on the “build a player” button; it’s near the top of the screen.
Choose the “design and build” option – Click on this on the right side of the screen. You can also choose the “pre-existing template” option on the left side of the screen to make your player even faster.
An aside: there are so many possibilities with the “design and build option” that it would be easy to spend much longer than 30 seconds creating a finely detailed player. For now, though, just stick to these instructions so you get a sense for how to crank out players quickly if need be.
Name your video player – Type in a brief name, click the playlist button, and then click “save and continue” to move on. There are also areas for keywords and description but you can fill those out later on.
Click on the logo tab – Upload your branded logo and place it onto the player.
Save the player – Once you save it, you have your unique, branded video player created in almost no time at all.
